I LOVED the Mass Effect teaser trailer.

I like trailers more than most anyway. I love the fast cuts, I love the 2 minute storytelling, I love the scores that are used. I'll download them off YouTube and watch them over and over again - half the time they're better than the film - Clash of the Titans is a great example. Film was fine as weakly scripted FX-driven things go, but the trailer was awesome. Remember the teaser trailer for the new Star Trek film? With the Enterprise being built and the welders? I BLOGGED about that baby. Loved it.

The teaser for ME3 beat the shit out of 'em both. It's my favourite game series. It's one of my favourite cities (and one that's too often overlooked in favour of an American alternative). It was immediately and brilliantly English without a fucking Mini, red phone box, union jack or anything to do with the Beatles. If it was Christina Hendricks I would have stalked it.*

So whatever. I was bored and had recently finished working on a marketing poster for a university trip to the capital which focused on Parliament, had a few nice stock photos of ye olde tower (everyone should know this by now but the clock aint Big Ben; that's the bell) and decided that since it's been at least 5 years since I played with painting explosions I should have another crack.

It aint perfect but I like it. Done over about 3-4 days - at a guess there's about 4 hours of painting in it. Or 10. Whatever. Whaddaya think?

* - Any reports about me stalking Christina have been overplayed. There was that one time I was in the bushes and the policeman asked me some questions but that's no biggie...
